PARSLEY intervertebral disc prolapse

Veterinary Referral Surrey MRI Spinal Surgery

Parsley is a 4 year old Dachshund that developed spinal pain that worsened until she lost the use of her hindlimbs. She was then referred to the Practice as a spinal emergency.

MRI scanning confirmed that she had suffered an intervertebral disc prolapse and emergency spinal surgery was performed to remove the prolapsed disc.

Over a period of time with physiotherapy undertaken in the Practice she regained use of her hindlimbs and is now back to near normal exercise much to the relief of her devoted owner.
