Meet our Team

angus

Tribute to Dr Angus Anderson, BVetMed PhD DSAS (Orth) FRCVS

Angus was a founder of our practice and a clinical director until he sadly passed away in 2023.

He graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1987, and began his impressive career in a mixed practice. He then spent ten years studying and lecturing in orthopaedics, before going on to complete a PhD in inflammatory joint disease and working in several private referral practices. After deciding to focus on private referral orthopaedic work, he established our practice in 2005. One of his proudest achievements was achieving an RCVS fellowship award in 2016 for his contributions to small animal orthopaedics, and he also wrote chapters for BSAVA manuals, published several papers on orthopaedic subjects and worked as an examiner for the RCVS.

Despite all of his amazing achievements, his favourite part of his work was watching his patients return to full fitness and seeing the pleasure it gave their owner. He was a vital part of our practice and will be greatly missed by our team, clients and patients.
