Our fixed price TPLO packages include:
- Initial consultation with the orthopaedic surgeon
- Preoperative blood tests if indicated
- Templating and post operative radiographs
- Induction, maintenance general anaesthetic and limb nerve block if indicated
- TPLO surgery, and associated implants
- All prescribed medication during a maximum 2-day post operative hospitalisation
- Oral discharge medication and collars/slings if needed
- Follow up 6-week check consultation and radiographs if needed
Additional fees will apply for:
- Charges related to other health issues
- Complications including but not limited to:- Anaesthetic complications and reactions- Implant complications and revision surgeries- Post operative complications such as surgical site infections
- Hospital stays more than 2 days post operatively
- Initial 1-2 week postoperative re-checks and successive consultations
- Any radiographs other than those included in the 6/8-week re-check
Post operative complications are unusual but can occur, any costs incurred relating to unexpected post operative complications are not included in the fixed price.
